The Astro Classic Golden Melody Singing Competition 2008 Final will be held LIVE from Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands at 8pm on May 24th 2008. This
highly anticipated singing competition for seniors, featuring
evergreen melodies is organised and produced by Astro AEC (Channel 301).
It is
an evening that showcases the best of eight senior finalists who
will outdo each other to be the champion of the prestigious
evergreen singing competition. Already into its eighth year, this
talent quest has grown in popularity year on year, and serves as an
excellent platform for seniors aged 45 years and above to present
their multi-facetted musical abilities. Come treat your family to an
evening of golden melodies and be impressed by the seniors'
diversity of talent in song, dance and other talents they have up on
their sleeves.
It is
not just the seniors, but the emcees every year who also inject much
entertainment and amusement to the evening. Anchoring this show, we
have renowned singer Yang Wei Han, Lim Tiong Piow, local duo and
sisters from the pop group Summer Grace Kwok Yen Yen and Kwok Voon
Voon to delight the audience with their witty humour this year.
