The Game
Played in an elegant setting, Baccarat is a
glamorous game with flexible limits, where
you decide to bet on Player or Banker. The
one which has the highest point or closest
to 9, will be the winning hand. The minimum
point is 0 and the maximum point is 9.
All cards from 2 to 9 are counted at face
value and an Ace is counted as 1. Picture
cards (King, Queen & Jack) and tens have a
value of 0 or any combinations totalling 10
will likewise be regarded as 0. To ascertain
correct total point count, the examples
given below shall be the basis for counting.
E.g.
Ace + 5 = 6
10 + 3 + 6 = 19. Hand total = 9
King + 10 = 20. Hand total = 0
7 + 5 + 5 = 17. Hand total = 7
The number of cards used for playing ranges
from 1 up to 8 decks of which the choice is
at the absolute discretion of the House.
Both the Player and Banker can only draw a
maximum of 3 cards each.

Draws a card |
-
Only one more card may be drawn by
either side, governed by the "Baccarat
Rules". The Player draws the third
card first and drawing of the Banker's
third card depends on the Player's
third card.
-
When either Player or Banker, has a
value of "Natural" 8 or 9 on the
initial two cards, no third card will
be drawn for either side. If one side
has a "Natural" 8 and the other side a
"Natural" 9, the "Natural" 9 wins.
-
However, if the total point count is
the same for both Banker and Player,
it is a "Tie" or "Draw" game. Betting
on either side will remain unaffected.
There is an option to bet on a "Tie"
and it pays 8 to 1. Whereas in a no
"Tie" situation, any bet on "Tie" will
be regarded as losing bet.
-
For bets won on the Banker side, the
House takes a commission of 5% on each
betting.
-
The game will be conducted either with
face-up or face-down (squeezing) of
cards as determined by the House.
No
Commission Baccarat
In addition, players have the
option to play "No Commission
Baccarat" game at designated
tables along with proper signage
displayed.
All winning "Banker"
bets shall be paid even money with
one EXCEPTION when the
"Banker" side wins on total
points of 6, the winning
"Banker" bets shall be paid
50% rate of the amount betted.
(For example: RM100 winning
"Banker" bet shall be paid
RM50). |
